Very awesome game with..............(play it!)
It's one of the most innovative, very creative, FPS games out there. Where it takes place in a sky city of Columbia, where it has the late 1800s to early 1900s steampunk vibe to it. And of course you play as Booker Dewitt where............... (NO SPOILERS) LEt's say it's one of the best games since the previous Bioshock series, where you're in the bottom of the ocean in the Laissez-Faire city of Rapture. And yes it's got a good storyline and gameplay. Graphics are top notch and some challenging enemies up ahead. Anyways you should get this while you can!

Zero stars if I could
Game itself is OK and fun but this premium edition is not worth the added expense. It comes with a code to download the soundtrack which did not work, so I paid extra for nothing. And the Handyman figurine, what a joke! It is not even one inch tall. Bigger toys come in a Craker Jack box. Very disappointed.Negative stars, if I could.

Great entertainment, just not a great game...
I will try to write this review and leave out any spoilers from the game. The Good:The world that they have created for this game is imaginative and (for the most part) well thought out. The graphics are amazing. The story is intriguing. The BadThis was an awkward result of a drunken evening between a 90's arcade game and an animated film. The game is really linear but doesn't even know what kind of game it is trying to be. Essentially the gameplay is: Story, story, story, BIG ACTION SEQUENCE, story, story, story, rinse, repeat. The badguys are painfully repetitive (I am pretty sure that there are only about 10 various bad guys that you face throughout the game) and the only challenge is that the game throws varying numbers of them at you. Shame on the writers for directly copying the last battle off of Mario Brothers.... Oh, and you can just shut the console off after that fight because they will try to drown you in anime-esque, inter-dimensional philosophy afterwards...The UglyI had my hopes set on this game. I fell for the marketing push and bought the special edition boxed set... I regret that decision. Pick this up if you find it for 20 bucks someplace, but by all means, don't pay full price for this.

Fun, but short and scattered
I will say first that Bioshock Infinite is a fun game to play. It's also absolutely gorgeous; the bright, rich color palette is a welcome change from Rapture's drabness. That said, this game was kind of a disappointment. It has too many ideas it wants to explore, and ends up feeling very unfocused. The plot feels like it was stitched together through several revisions, so there are many interesting ideas that just sort of go nowhere. The 'vigors', Columbia's equivalent of plasmids from Bioshock, don't really make sense, as they aren't explained or in any way integral to the plot, as plasmids were. Instead, they're just sort if there. The game is also frustratingly short, despite there being a few spots that feel stretched thin. I beat it in two days, playing about 3-5 hours each day.Overall, I'd say the game is worthwhile, but not worth 60+ dollars. If you can rent it via Gamefly or a local video store, definitely check it out; just think carefully before dropping the better half of a hundred bucks on it.

Good game, but it just could not live up to the hype - or wait
I was waiting for this since it was announced.Pre-ordered the Premium Edition which is not really worth it, IMO.The soundtrack is missing most of the songs I would have wanted & meaningless swag is included.I waited and waited .. and waited, each time the release date was moved.I even scheduled some hard-earned time off to play it once the date was official.I got it on release day, started playing on Wednesday afternoon and beat it (on "Medium" difficulty) by lunchtime on Friday.I did every quest and side-quest I could find.So that is problem #1: The game is short.Real short, shorter than Bioshock 2. Very few side-quests.Problem #2: It is more linear than I would have expected from a Bioshock title.I often went back to previous locations (looking for more to do) only to find the location, door, building, whatever was no longer accessible. No more taking the bathysphere back to look for things you missed to get your achievements. You CAN replay previous chapters but that really breaks the whole game immersion for me.Problem #3: This may just be me, but the ending was too predictable.I understand that people are expecting the "twist" now but I think they tried too hard.In fact it seems they stretched it out another 5 or 10 minutes when there was no other possible explanation for what was going on. Maybe it is me though. I was looking for it and I read a lot of science, mysteries & science-fiction.Anyway, it is a fun game. I'm going to play it again and I'll probably get the "Season Pass" for some extra content. You know, pay another $20 for extra content that should have come WITH the Premium Edition which I ALREADY paid another $20 for...

Another Fantastic Bioshock
Bioshock Infinite is without a doubt one of the greatest masterpieces of this console generation. From the moment you first ascend into the flying city of Columbia to the mind-bending ending, the wonders of this game's environment will constantly take your breath away. The plot is astounding, a refreshing change of pace from today's generic shooter market focused primarily around the main character's relationship with a young woman that he has set out to rescue named Elizabeth. The gameplay is suburb with extremely few glitches to ruin the immersion that the developers have so masterfully crafted. In addition, the AI of your companion Elizabeth never ceaces to amaze as she always finds ways to aid you in times you need her most without ever becoming directly involved in your many firefights. I'd give this game a perfect score any day. 10/10 for me.Special Edition Note:While I was disappointed by the physical trinkets that came with the limited edition of this excellent game, the exclusive DLC proved to be a great asset on my play through. The extra gear and upgrades will certainly aid any gamer seeking to conquer the challenge of 1999 Mode.

Wow... Amazing
Great Gameplay and amazing story bring back the good things in the beloved bioshock. No disappointments or cons to this work of art. Get this game ASAP! THe price for the game is almost to low to be right. This is a magnificent game especially if your a fan of "Bethesda" Titles (Skyrim, Fallout, Dishonored etc..). Makes good use of the xbox 360's graphics card and will blow you away.

My grandson liked it.
It was a birthday present for my 12 year old grandson. Apparently he likes it. Time will tell.I personally have no knowledge of such things (too old).
