National Geographic Readers: Great Migrations Butterflies

Good book very educational. We found the Mariners eggs and keep them in jars until they hatch and grow up and then become butterflies. I turned my 10-year-old great-niece onto it and I bought her this book to go along to Lauren the stages of a monarch butterfly

This is small but a very good book on the Monarch Butterfly. It has more info then larger books I had in the past. It is great for a curious child to read and view the pictures.

I raise Monarchs every year and this is my favorite book to use with elementary students. The photographs are great and the information is useful. I don't find inaccuracies about tagging to be deal-breakers. For an elementary audience , this is just right.

This brief review updates much new information about these butterflies, and it does it with graphics and photos that educate and enthrall. Purchased for grandchildren in the 6-8 year range, it is an easy read but enjoyable and very educational. Especially helpful are the vocabulary glossaries and the charts. I was quite surprised to read some of the recent research results. It definitely is a good choice for older readers too, allowing you to quickly understand and learn while enjoying. Highly recommend!

A colorful gift for my students at the end of the year.

This book has a lot of information in it. A little long for younger students. I teach kindergarten and they started to get a little wiggly by the 30th page. it has 48 pages. SO I split it up in two days. But great information and my students loved the pictures.

Unfortunately this was a gift and I was informed that the book was missing pages. not worth the trouble of returning for 3.99,

We just love these National Geographic books. I ordered several for my three-year-old grandson, based on the things he showed an interest in. When we finish it, he always says, "again".
