Bridging GCSE and A-level Maths Student Book

This is a useful book for students who have not studied the Further Pure Maths IGCSE or the Further Maths AQA Certificate before starting A-Level Maths. I would prefer if the practice questions for each section immediately followed the worked examples rather than being at the very end of the book.

I am studying alone and was really looking for a book to help me bridge GCSE and A level. This wouldn't do it unless you have a teacher or tutor with a lot of time spare to fill in the missing tutorials. Such a disappointment.

The text is in English, so you will need good english. It is specifically targetted at taking a student from reasonable GCSE to confidence in *starting* A-level - so, again, specific to a British audience.There are a few errors but, on the whole, the book has been well laid out and provides copious exercises to cement the brief theory. The theory *is* brief so it isn't really a self-study book: you will need someone to help you through topics covered.

Good refresher, course for some topics I had forgotten over the years. Very clear and well laid out. Thank you.
