Original review at bottom.. updaTed review follows:::I purchased this rug about 9 months ago. I only came back to this order because of a comment I received. But I feel obligated to inform anyone interested in making this purchase.. best rug ever . Period .I stand behind everything I said in my initial review 9 months ago. However I wrote that review just a week after receiving it and laying it out. There's a lot I've learned about it since.As you can see in the pictures we have a dog in our home. We also have a bunny who roams the main living space and a 5 yr old. The bunny is litter trained but there's always a trail of hay leading to his cage lol The dog obviously tracks in mud and who knows what else, and the 5 yr old is a typical 5 yr old who spills something on it pretty much daily. Not to mention both of said 5 yr old's parents are a bit on the clumsy side ;) This rug is not exactly what I would call pampered. My point is this... the rug is still beautiful. I vacuum and clean up after spills of course, but the fibers of the rug are like stain resistant I think. I'll see the little one spill a whole drink and the liquid will sit on top of the carpet, instead of sinking in.. so if you move quickly you can prevent any and all damage. That extra bit of time is a luxury that anyone with young kids could appreciate. Also, the dog sheds. Like the liquid, the dog fur will sit on top instead of smushing in between the carpet.. it makes vacuuming a total breeze. I give it a once-over each week.Anyhow, the rug is wonderful and soft and my family has had many wonderful moments sitting on it playing board games and having movie night :) The bright colors really wake up the room and I am so happy I went with this one in the end.. (and I must have looked through 200 rugs lol) This one is a winner!Original review:I was reallly nervous about ordering this. I have seen this rug listed by different sellers but purchased mine from uniqueloom. Its an expensive purchase and i was worried about the colors being off, of the rug being of poor quality... So not the case here!This area rug is perfect! The colors are amazing, the fibers are so soft... I've had wood floors for a long time but could never decide on a rug. This one has the blues and greens I have in my living room, but also has pink, maroon, yellow, gold, orange... it looks different up close verse further away.. Either way it's bright and vibrant. Everyone who comes into our house mentions the rug being beautiful. And I actually forgot what it felt like to walk around barefoot on a carpet.. doing it on this one is seriously like a dream.Also we have ours in a pretty high traffic area..the dog likes it too... I thought her claws would be a problem, but they haven't pulled a single thread. In the passed I've ordered less expensive ones for the hall and they always look horrible in just a matter of days. Not this one. This one is strongly bonded and well made. No soot-like, rug dust left behind here either (which I've read in reviews)I am so pleased with this purchase! I definitely recommend this area rug, from this company. I'm uploading some photos so you can see. The colors look slightly different depending on sun or shade, flash, etc... but you'll get the idea.

I have used this rug as my front entrance rug for two months. It gets used every time someone goes upstairs or uses the door, and our 2 big dogs lay on it to look outside. It does not hold the dog hair and vacuums easily. It shows no sign of pulling, fading or damage. The colors are absolutely gorgeous, and it reminds me of nature - a forest on the waters edge. Very serene. It does slip a lot, so make sure you get a good rug gripping pad for under it.

Our rug just arrived today. Because it was 10 x 13 it was shipped folded into thirds then rolled. I understand how this is helpful for the poor delivery person, but the wrinkles that result are unsightly. I vacuumed it hoping to help smooth it out but it did nothing. I’m hoping it flattens out in time. I may try getting a pad for underneath it to see if that helps. I will try to remember to update if anything works to cure the wrinkles. Love the colors and texture and really for the price it will be perfect...if it flattens out.

This rug is as beautiful as pictured, and as soft as everyone says. HOWEVER, even after being outside for a week - unwrapped, unfolded and unrolled - first on one side, then the other, the rug continues bad off-gassing. The rug is in our master bedroom, and as of tomorrow it will be too cold to keep the three large windows open all day, with the ceiling fan on high. If the off-gassing doesn't go away in a few days, the rug will go back outside for the winter, on the hope that by next spring it will no longer be putting off the noxious fumes.The rug is a big part of the redecorating of our master, to not have it in the room is a big setback.Update: The rug is back outside. The fumes in the house continued to be intense and we were having physical symptoms. Also forgot to mention in original review - there is a 1/2" segment on the outside edge binding that is simply not there.

This blue multi-colored rug is exactly what I was looking for. Considered similar items from ikea and living spaces. But this rug worked better and for a better price! The coloring is a great balance of bright and darker hues of turquoise & blue. Go well with the decor I’ve already purchased (see pics).Durability, to be determined since I just got it. Rug arrived quickly. Arrived rolled up but the inner edge flattened quickly with some weight for a couple of days.

We are a military family and move frequently. It is so hard to find something that can fit in multiple spaces. We sold our entire living room set before our last move so we were in desperate need of something for our entire hard wood historical home. We bought these couches from ikea but I am so picky about rugs or carpet. We were going to go to a local carpet store and buy a remnant to go in the space and then I found this rug. We just moved from Hawaii and are missing the tropical colors. This rug was the perfect combination of Blues and tans to tie our coastal theme together. It's soft without being too shaggy. It vacuumed easily (with 4 kids, a dog, and a cat that is a must!). The room isn't fully done but I'm thrilled with this purchase!

The rug itself is great. The colors are vibrant and as pictured. Well,almost. The runner was not lined in a navy, as shown in each photo. Instead, it was a very bright lilac tone. That should be photographed and displayed or noted. I asked a question regarding the difference but never recieved a response. It's quite unfortunate and ruined the look I was going for. Full transparency regarding the look of an item should be offered

This rug is absolutely gorgeous and has a nice weight to it. It stays put just fine without an anti-slip mat, though I don’t have it in a heavy traffic area.It’s a quality rug for a great price—and yes, I bought it. No freebie or discount here.

Love it! It is of good quality and matches the colours in my room very well. Just what I wanted.
