This bin looks good and works perfectly. In many ways it is exactly what you'd want for this sort of bin. However, the inside of the lid gets incredibly dirty and is hard to clean. The opening on the lid feels flimsy. It is also ridiculously difficult to remove a full bin bag. You have to empty it before it gets too full or it is impossible.

I was a bit sceptical about this when I ordered it, but the white version was half price so gave it a punt. I must say it's a really useful having the sensor device which opens the lid without having to press anything. It does need 4 of the big D batteries which cost £8 but they should last a long time, hopefully.The only slight issue for me is the sensor is a bit too sensitive and can open the lid when walking past or opening the door but this isn't a big deal. There is a power button so you can switch it off completely if you remember. Also it can close too soon if you need to scrape a pan or plate that takes more than a few seconds but this can be overridden by pressing the open and close button.Overall all these are very minor gripes and it's the best kitchen bin I've bought, having got rid of a few which were not user friendly.

Kitchen bin ok, but the plastic cover cannot be cleaned well, for such a high price you can also require metal parts in the cover.

Might seem a bargain, but no protection on the packaging. Ordered one which arrived dented, returned for a replacement which also arrived with a whopping great dent. Refund this time.
