It looks great on the counter. Well-built and good-looking, small footprint.Easy well-engineered operation - just put in the disc (mixing or frothing), pour in milk, twist the knob to the operation you want, and push. Very quiet and it is ready quickly.Metal container is easy to manuever, pour (spoon is helpful for the froth), and clean. We just rinse and wipe it out and lift out the disc and rinse it off too.Plastic cover works well, and the center can be lifted during mixing to add sugar, hot chocolate mix, etc. The top is also easy to clean. Cup and top are also both dishwasher safe.

Love it! Generous capacity, excellent froth, and the color is amazing! I’ve been through 4 ( yes 4) other frothers in 2 years that were crap. I finally splurged on a good one, and super pleased! Looks so groovy on my counter

This might seem like an unimportant, fairly useless, niche kitchen gadget and well... it is. But at the same time it may be the most wonderful, amazing, incredible thing I've ever added to my kitchen. I found this after having Knoops in London, and wanted to make my own at home here in the US. Now I make luxurious hot cocoa (or iced hot cocoa) almost every day now, using blended up chocolate buttons from a chocolate supplier near me, and the smeg milk frother makes it easy - perfect cup of cocoa every time and extremely easy to clean. I'm now a hot chocolate addict and have told several people they have to get one of these. It's not an important thing to own, but it's a great thing to own.

This is a really expensive product at $229. I received my SMEG frother August 28th to celebrate something, and enjoyed frothing milk with morning coffee every single morning till exactly October 9th, at which point it simply stopped working. I read the instruction booklet carefully before every using it and followed the instructions faithfully and double checked by reading the Amazon helping tips too. This frother ceased working in 42 days. What a disappointment. I had thought that SMEG was a good brand. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. Customers are better off getting one of the many inexpensive hand-held milk frothers.
