exquisite figs!
We love these figs, enough so that I ordered for the third time recently - 5# each time. These taste firm, sweet, a bit chewy, all exactly what a dried fig should taste like. Yes, there are a few "brownies" that are tough to chew, fair enough, but we eat them anyway. These haven't lasted long enough in our household to test them for longevity in their sealed bag...but the big plan should they last too long is simply to freeze them and make jam of them...so no worries, we can do that, too!All in all, an excellent product at a goodish, fair price.Disclaimer: This review is NOT part of the Amazon Vines program, but rather represents actual purchased product for which full price has been paid. Good shape, flavor, and package
Nicely dried, mild flavor, just what I wanted.

Consistently high quality.
I have tried four other brands of dried figs and they are all inferior to these in one way or another. This is my fifth time ordering the Anna and Sarah figs and the quality has never varied. They are always good sized, sweet and nicely dried.

Good value
When I first opened these and tried them I thought I wasted money. It had a smell, they were ridiculously soft and just mild flavor. I separated into smaller bags and put them in the fridge anyway with hopes that they would at least be more firm. That worked wonders! First day the texture was much better and the smell went away(must have been the bag). Second day the flavor was where it should be. I normally get made in nature ones from my grocery store which are great but the price is high and they have been having some qc issues as of late. These are a much better value and after separating/cooling they are delicious and perfect texture. Will be buying regularly

Delicious and Good Quality
I was a little worried because of some of the reviews. But these were pretty good. You have to open the package, shake them around a bit and let them air out. Then keep them in a dry pantry and not in the fridge. But closed up so that the fruit flies don't find them. I also start by eating the nastiest looking ones first and working my way up to the better ones. But even the few that look spoiled are just more sugary. I have not gotten any that were rotten or moldy - and sometimes dried figs just look like they were transported in a leather satchel by camel across the desert - but they are okay for eating and recipes.I like Calimyrna figs to be somewhat tough and chewy, but not dried out. I have only found them that way at some isolated delicatessens. It's a crap shoot when you order them online. But the Anna & Sarah brand has proved to be pretty good (actually the best I have gotten online) and I have ordered them several times on Amazon.

Fig perfection
I know there are bad reviews from a couple of years ago, but those issues seem to have been resolved. At least in my experience. I have ordered these figs 3 times (3 lb bag) over the last few months and the figs have been fresh and delicious. They are my Goldilocks figs - not too dry, not too wet - the skin is a chewy, leathery consistency (which I happen to love in dried figs since I also eat dates and I enjoy the contrast of textures) and the inside is moist but not too wet. It’s that fig tastiness you get in a Fig Newton without the added sugar or wheat cookie. If you enjoy dried figs, I highly recommend this brand.

Was good in the past but now Quality terrible
These were some of my favorite figs for a long time. They were big, not dry and “were” being past tense good quality. Unfortunately the last 5 bags have been just terrible. I mean moldy, dry, smells terrible and some even wet and rotten with some bags with bugs in them when I opened the bag! I have definitely gave this company a chance given the last 5 orders after the poor quality because they were so good before but now it appears that the quality is just consistently bad now. I did reach out to the company regarding this issue but never received a response. Since the product is not returnable I just threw them out.
