Be Careful!
This dish may be OK except the "Beyond Florida Store" charged Me $65.55 and I only received a single dish.....Wow!I thought I was to receive 8 of these dishes which were around $8.00 each. They also claim that it comes with a plastic and glass lid, not so as it only came with a plastic lid.I returned it and after about one month after them receiving the returned item I finally received a full refund.I just didn't need the hassle!!!

Corning Ware is Timeless
The classic white corning ware dish--great to store leftovers. The rubber lid is tight as other commenters have mentioned, but I think that's a good thing to keep food safe from spilling. This dish should last a very long time.

Perfect for baking small cheese appetizers
I bought the dish to bake a wonderful cheese appetizer for the holidays. Just the right size and the lid let me make is ahead of time, then bake right before serving. It also worked well to store the leftovers, which could go from the frig to the microwave to the table. A win-win.

Light Enough to Take to Work. Small Enough to Fit in a Toaster Oven. Nice Sides to Prevent Oven Drips.
I'm giving this 4 stars because the lid is plastic instead of glass. This dish (15 oz. 444mL) is a perfect size for carrying to work and for use in a toaster oven (not the lid). The food (especially meat) tastes so much better when baked in a toaster oven compared to a microwave. I use this style stoneware everyday on 375 for 12 minutes to heat up food that is already cooked. No explosion yet (as someone else experienced at the 30 minute mark). I will take my chances. The bottom of the dish says Oven Safe. No stovetop. No Broiler. I suppose if you took a cold dish right out of the fridge or freezer and popped it into the oven you might be asking for it. But I always transfer the food to a room temperature stoneware dish before heating it. Anyway, use at your own risk.
