I have not compared this to other fine cutting blade
I purchased this to cut decorative panels so it would leave a nice edge which it does having 80 teeth but it does drag on thicker materials, it's great on 10mm mdf but when I used it to cut 18mm ply it definitely drags even though its brand new. I dropped a star but to be fair this could be perfectly normal for 80 tooth blades so I'm not going to say it has a problem. I put my old Milwaukee blade back in to cut the 18mm ply and it glides through like butter even though I've had it for about 3 years, it's not a daily use tool for me though.

Seems realy sharp.
Difficult to know how long it would last.As I was cutting a very hard composite material.

no good on knots
perfect for cutting clean 3x2 i used it constantly with no issues with these and other new timber. But it struggled cutting knots. it would smoke and leave a burnt mark. not too good on old or damp wood eitheroverall a good blade and I would buy again

Good compatability
To start with, there is nothing to not like about this blade. The quality is good, the price is very competitive, the performance is great. The blade cuts like a dream. It was easy to install, even though the bore on my saw is smaller than that of the blade, as you get adjustment rings with the saw blade that allow you to put the blade onto different sized bore. The bore on my Black and Decker is 16mm (where the blade attaches to), and the bore on the blade (the hole on the blade) is 30mm. So using the "supplied" adjustment ring (you get 2 types and 3 sizes by the look of it) I was able to securely fit the blade to my saw, no problem.I would recommend this blade and if they do other formats (ie 24, 40, 120 teeth), I would not hesitate in purchasing them when required.

Pleased with my purchase
I bought this as a replacement for the one in an ancient Black and Decker DN57 hand circular saw.The hole in the middle is 20mm with two adaptor rings to bring it down to 16mm. That's close to the arbour size but just slightly larger. I had to set the position of the blade by eye so it runs easily and I think I managed to do it.Also the B&D blades were 155mm not 600mm but it went in and it seems there is sufficient clearance all round and the saw runs fine. So its not ideal but it means that my old saw is saved from the tip. I think the saw was discontinued years ago and the replacements use a slightly different size blade. The blade feels thicker than others at 2.5mm Kerf which is good.

Soon goes blunt
Surprised how quickly the blade went blunt.Thought as it was advised as hardened tip blade it should have lasted a lot longer than it did.I only used it on soft wood. really disappointedI do not recommend this blade. I should have purchased a more expensive blade that would last.

Great blade at a great price.
I purchased this blade to cut 19mm OSB hoarding I was using to line the walls of my new steel workshop. The 24 tooth blade which was on my saw was leaving very rough cuts so I went for this 80 tooth blade in the hope it would perform better without costing the earth. At a cost of £9.57 and free delivery I was a bit wary as to what the quality would be like but I decided to go ahead and make a purchase anyway as I would try it out on some scrap wood before using it for the work in hand.In the event I needn't have worried as this blade left beautifully cut edges requiring very little effort, no burning of the wood and it was still cutting just as keenly on the last of the numerous cuts I had to make.I would highly recommend this blade to anyone as it does a great job without costing a fortune and it was also delivered very rapidly to my address.
