The best honey I can find
If you like Acacia honey, you will like this honey. Acacia honey is a light flavor. I was getting very disappointed that Meeks honey has been getting darker and darker. They have lots of dark Meeks honeys for sale, but no light honey. I think Acacia honey has to come from Italy. I used to buy another brand of Acacia honey in a gourmet shop, but they stopped carrying it years ago. So, this stuff is really the best. Once you get spoiled by Acacia honey you won't want to go back to dark honeys. Clover Honey is ok, but kind of bland compared to Acacia honey.

Fresh and Great Tasting Honey
Pricey, but very good and tasty honey, and this retailer is excellent. The first time the honey came in a bubble bag and it was leaking. I took a picture and there was no problem. Not only did the retailer replace it but sent me some delicious chocolate as a gift.

Will Acacia honey by Dr.pescia crystallize?
I buy this honey every year and have jars going back for five years. While it is very clear and light, it will crystallize extremely slowly but none that I have has ever completely solidified. Like a fine organic product it will develop a different flavor profile with the passage of time. So with my experience, I have found that it will at least partially crystallize if not totally but at a very slow rate. Great product and highly recommend.

Hard to find product from Italy
My friend fell in love with Italian honey on a summer visit. This is just the right size to give someone for a small gift or stocking stuffer. It is a bit expensive, but worth it for the right person.

Doesn't taste like acacia
Agree with the previous review, it doesn't have the quality and clear texture that premium acacia honey should have... taste like regular honey, I felt I overpaid...

Not Acacia or an unusual species of Acacia
I'm very familiar with the Acacia honey. Growing up in Europe, I've always had Acacia honey directly from the beekeepers. Acacia honey was pretty popular and well appreciated over there.Although the texture of the Dr Pescia's honey is of quality, it has a strong floral aroma that is not Acacia, or it belongs to a very different species of Acacia that I've never experienced before. Some might like it, but for me it's very "medicinal" and it's a far cry from true Acacia flavor. If you want to taste true Acacia honey, try the Acacia Honey (Bende), or Acacia Honey (Langnese) found here on Amazon. Bende is a hair thicker than Langnese. Both have a nice true Acacia flavor.Disclaimer: I'm neither associated with any honey brand, nor endorse any. But I've found the true Acacia taste in the above honey brands that I've got from Amazon.Update Jul 16, 2014:Although I stand by my previous review that this one has a very different taste from the usual Acacia one, I've found this honey to be extremely delicious in combination with nuts, so delicious that I sweetened the rating from 1 to 4 stars.True Acacia taste I've also found in this honey sold here on Amazon: "Apicola Salcam Romanian Acacia Honey".The honey brands with true Acacia taste, quoted in this review, have the origins in Germany, Hungary and Romania. This might explain the difference in taste since "Acacia Honey by Dr Pescia" is from Tuscany, Italy. From Wikipedia: "The main producers are Bulgaria, Hungary, Ukraine and Romania but it is also found in Canada, China, France and Italy."

Superb Acacia Honey
I'm almost 80 and from the age of 7 when I first worked with my uncle and his beehives in south Texas to many years sampling many types of honeys, I have never had a honey as subtle and flavorful as Dr. Pescia's Miele de Acacia (Acacia Honey). The man is a true artisan specializing in Italina Truscan honeys. Not cheap, but well worth the price. I don't do many product reviews, but this man deserves to be recognized for his efforts.
