Ican Wild Cod Liver Canned From Iceland 190g pack of 6

I really hesitated today to open the tin and try this wild-caught Cod Liver. Remembered that some people thought it actually had a pleasant flavor - but others didn't. But with my extremely low Vitamin D levels I knew I had to try it because nothing else was bringing those levels up. WOW! What a wonderful surprise! Hey, Mikey, she likes it!! (like the old commercial about someone trying something for the first time.) It was a little salty and very mild! Almost as good as Nova! And I was left with a relaxed, warm feeling afterward - like my body had finally gotten something it needed so badly! Ditch the cod liver oil and try this gem!! You very well may like it better!!

So the livers alone are better than expected. If you like pate, you will likely appreciate the livers. They are fairly tender and not very fishy. The oil around them is more fishy. So I liked the livers, but left the oil. Very healthy, high protein, high vitamin D & A..etc. Yes, pretty good.

First time I've ever tried cod livers. The flavor was very light, I really enjoyed them.

I bought these because I read that it’s very healthy for you. I opened the first can. I could tell the product was very fresh. This is my first time trying cod liver. I didn’t like it! However, I did manage to get some of it down on a cracker. It’s just not for me. The product itself is great though. If you like cod liver I would recommend this brand.

tried a few different brands but always come back to this one. I just top my salad once a week w/one can(w/the oil) and sprinkle some seasoned salt and it's delish. loads of vitamin A,D as well.

These Cod Livers are of Excellent Quality, so fresh and clean! Flavor is lovely!The cod liver oil, they are packed in their own oil, is likewise, taste clean and fresh!Will reorder when I get a little low on stock!

As a fish lover, this requires an acquired taste. If you have plans to eat just a bit and leave the rest for tomorrow, don't. The smell and taste enhance so much that it is awful. So, eat all at once. The cod liver is smooth and tasty, try to eat with bread or crackers.Note to Amazon: When I took out all the cans, three of them were dented. So I will throw them away. I realized after the return date so I am unable to ask for my money back for the three damaged cans. Inspect all your cans when you receive your order consumers.
