Redo your ideas about chocolate for a snack.
Chocolate without the high sugar content is more expensive.... Especially when buying a single unit or a unit with a couple bars included. I bought a 12 bar unit to get a better price per bar. On the good side, each bar is huge compared with a normally bought USA candy bar. The taste is not nearly a bitter as I anticipated and that is positive as a snack that has things written about it as a healthier snack....so I break off a small portion and let it melt in my mouth and savor it as opposed to bite chew and swallow fast. I invite you to do the same.

Love the flavor of this chocolate and the fact that ...
Love the flavor of this chocolate and the fact that they are taking responsibility to ensure their chocolate is not secured via slave labor! The bars are large and worth the money. If you keep uneaten portions in the refrigerator, break up the bar first before placing it in the fridge. There is an unusual logo design on the chocolate bar itself which makes it harder to break up some sections into bite size pieces if it's cold from the fridge.

Long delivery time but worth the wait
Case quantity stores well in fridge.Taste is without a doubt the best I have ever experienced and it works well in cookies; No nasty after taste.Imported shipping takes a bit of worthwhile patience.

True chocolate
A good price for a great chocolate. I saw his company in Netflix documentary on world chocolate production. I wanted to be a part of turning to the not slave possibility. This company looks to be the real deal at a good price an product. Happy to be a part of it.

Worth the price
A little pricey, but great quality. This one box will last me the year. Smooth and creamy. And ethically sourced.

Just OK
I am eating this chocolate as I type. It's a reasonabley good chocolate, by no way the best, just OK. It doesn't have that richness one may associate with other 70% chocolates, but it's nice. I guess you buy this for altruistic reasons (anti slavery) but not for the flavor being something beyond others, as it's not. Also it's in large chunks, and is difficult to snap or bite off. Just don't expect something that will blow your mind. ..it's not that kind of chocolate. For the record I did not buy mine at Amazon.

Yum!
First had Tony’s in Amsterdam and have been ordering ever since. It is the perfect dark chocolate for my taste.

Recently downgraded from heavenly world-class dark chocolate to just normal dark chocolate
UPDATE 11/14/2019: The newest ones I just ate are flavorful and intense just like the original ones! I realized the difference is apparent not only in taste but in texture. The "good" version will taste more chocolatey/intense and also crumble a bit easier in the mouth. The "bad" version is a tad bit harder to chew and gives more resistance, as well as being less flavorful. By the way, if anyone cares, the little packets I have here say: L19043 09 and the expiration date is "12.FEB.2021". Raising the review to 4 stars and here's to hoping they won't sneakily lower the quality again.Original review below...Prior to Tony's, I thought all dark chocolate from all brands tasted approximately the same. Then I became enlightened. The first time I had a blue 70% Tony's chocolate (tiny size), it really blew my mind. There was really something "extra" about this chocolate even though it had the same 70% proportion as other dark chocolates. Somehow, it tasted more chocolatey. It wasn't sweeter, nor did it have a higher % of chocolate. It was simply more intense and flavorful. I believe this has something to do with the quality of chocolate they used. So I started telling everyone that blue Tony's chocolate is really amazing and they have to try it to believe it.Unfortunately when I tried the most recent batches of the same exact chocolate, the magic was lost. They changed something; I don't know exactly what; maybe they switched from high-grade to regular chocolate. In any case, it now tastes just like regular old 70% dark chocolate that you can find in any store now. That is not to say it is bad, because 70% dark chocolate has always been a yummy thing, but it has definitely lost its magical mind-blowing qualities. I am very sad and I hope that one day they will find a way to rekindle the magic and make their chocolate heavenly once again.
