Regular litter is tracked around after your cat uses the box. But with Pretty Litter it has the consistency like sand, more of it stays in the box and very little comes out with the cat. No more cats that smells like a litter boxes and stepping on grit.

We have had cats for years and this is the best kind hands down.

I really like that you can easily clean the litter box. I have three cats and it gets pretty old cleaning the cat boxes. I tried the electric boxes and they are not any more easy than a regular one. Now there's no mess or litter all over the floor. The litter doesn't stick to their paws either, I really love pretty cat litter.

The silica gets almost as dusty as the clay. Smell is pretty darn bad after two weeks. I can’t imagine not changing more frequently than recommended. It’s very expensive too. To be unhappy with odor and dust at this price point is ridiculous.I wanted to like this product, but sadly I do not and cannot recommend it.

Kitty not happy with the change even though we are going slowly with it, but I like it. He likes to throw the litter around ( I have no idea how he gets it out- there’s only the one opening but he gets it everywhere) and this seems like less litter gets out even now so I’m hopeful that will continue.

I bought this product because I was looking for litter for a litter box in a high-traffic area that would result in minimal litter and dust on the floor. Although both my cats now prefer to use this litter box (the only one with Pretty Litter) and the odor elimination is great, this stuff tracks EVERYWHERE. I have literally watched my cat come out of the litter box and track tiny, clear-white shards over almost half the house before they stopped being visibly left behind. Will not purchase again because this was way worse than clay litter for my needs.
