Magic The Gathering(MTG) Born of the Gods Intro Pack - Forgestoker Dragon - Red (Includes 2 Booster Packs)

The intro decks are a good value if they contain cards and color combinations you know you want. (Wizards has deck lists on their site.) I never go above thirteen for an intro deck, but the fact that you get ~35 non-land cards plus two boosters is pretty cool. (This particular deck I got for under ten, including s&h. It is generally worth waiting a little if the current price seems steep)I am really enjoying the Theros block. The "heroic" and "inspired" dynamics are neat, and I like the hybrid "enchantment creature" concept.

This is worth it to get the booster packs alone. Nice mix of cards. But this is just an intro pack - you can't make a real deck out of one of these.

I ended up with 3 mythics and a planeswalker. Best playset to date and pulling 4 amazing cards left me pretty speachless! Thank you so much for whoever pulled this one for me!

I bought this to play magic for the first time. I found out very fast it isn't good enough to play even friendly tournaments. If you need a starter deck you can use this one but make major changes to it immediately.

Extremely upset. Nowhere does it say that this is a red AND white deck. The only mention of color is red. So I purchased it because I wanted to get as many red cards as possible. Talk about false advertisement.

The item received was not the item in question (being sold). I purchased this hoping to get a Swamp deck, I instead received a Mountain deck. Another purchaser had the same problem, but I decided to roll the dice. Turns out the intro deck would never be "Death's Beginning". I don't know whether to return it or keep the intro pack either way.

Worked well for me. Served its purpose. I was able to learn how to play. Once I found out what I liked I purchased single cards online. Much more effective than a fat pack in my opinion.

It's exactly as described, save for the fact that the deck is black AND green, not just black. Item arrived quickly and in perfect condition.
