Saker mini chainsaw
I have to admit that I was not sure how this would work but there's so many times it felt stupid to bring out my other chainsaws to trim up smaller branches, etc. I like the fact that this unit comes with (2) 20 volt batteries. I find that I need to always keep an eye on the chain tension because it can loosen up when using it. It's not a big deal to tighten it up again but it's good to watch. I've used it to trim off branches while on a step ladder and an extension ladder and it is certainly much easier that a full size (even 12-14 inch) chainsaw. I don't think I'd use it to cut up a bunch of 6" branches but 3-4" ones are no trouble for this.

Amazing how it eats wood!
This is an amazing little saw. I have a big Husqvarna pro saw which is too big and heavy for small jobs. This eats through wood amazingly. Downside is chain isn't adjustable, but if you lube it with a really good lube, ( I use Bel Ray motorcycle chain lube) the chain lasts, and it comes with a replacement chain. Amazing at this price. I said amazing too many times, I am impressed

My new sweet baby beast!
It finally warmed up to the single digits today, so I was able to give this a trial run. What a beast! Very impressed. I cut a lot of dead wood kindling in the back yard and this cut dense, hard, dry limbs like a champ. I cut some that were 5 or 6 inches in diameter, which is probably bigger than you should with this, but the size and weight allows you to easily turn the limb, and the saw, to get a full circumference cut. I used both batteries out of the box, so there was (of course) only a partial charge in each. That coupled with the cold temp outside (and the size of some limbs I cut) gave me about a half-hour of battery juice - but I cut a LOT of wood in that time. I will repost about battery life after fully charging both and using them. A "You Tuber" who demonstrated/tested this had the same experience, but reported later in the video that the fully charged battery "can go all day." Another thing I like is the fact that it runs at full power/speed until it doesn't have enough juice, then it completely stops. There isn't a progressive slowing down of the chain. I highly recommend this saw.

Great for Small Jobs
We have a few trees in our yard and I noticed some branches were dying. I didn't want to pay someone to get rid of them (they were all reachable without a ladder and none were over about 3 inches thick) so, I decided to give this mini saw a shot. I LOVE IT!! I have used it 5 or 6 times already to cut branches/limbs off our trees (and to cut lower parts off our large agaves). So far, it's worked like a charm. The last time I used it was months after my prior use and when I put the battery pack back into the saw, it still had a charge.

A must have for doing yard work
I was very skeptical about these mini saws when they first appeared but when I found this Saker 6” on sale, I could not pass it up. I have been using shears and loppers to cut limbs and small trees growing in my flower beds and in my fence line but this is a game changer. This takes no effort, whereas, with the others I would have to sometimes put quite a bit of force into it, leaving my arthritic hands sore for a few days before I could return to trimming again. There is only one thing that I would change and that is the position of the safety button. My hands are very small and I cannot push the safety button with my thumb and push the trigger to start it at the same time so I have to use my left hand to push the safety while holding and starting it with my right hand. It also means that I have to keep it running while I am positioning a small limb and holding it while I cut it. If the limbs are small and long, they have to be steadied, otherwise, when the saw engages the limb, it just bumps it around. I recommend this or even the 4” for trimming. It will be a purchase you won’t regret.
