Roomy with Pockets and Organisation a Go-Go!
This Kono travel bag is deceptively spacious and a gift for those who love to be organised when they travel! You have the main body of the bag, with a zip-around compartment at the bottom where you can store your shoes – or any other items you wish to keep separate from the rest of your belongings. I particularly like the fact that this separate compartment also has two little silver air vents, to help keep shoes and other items as fresh as possible.Aside from this you have five other pockets/ compartments on the outside alone. Two at the front of the bag, one on each side and one on the back. One of the side compartments is zipped the other has no zip but is elasticated, in case you want to carry – for example – a water bottle or a telescopic umbrella. The main bag has two carry handles and there is also a detachable shoulder strap that attaches to the bag via two strong D-rings. The hardware is strong and looks durable. I would have liked a little more padding on the shoulder strap – especially on such a large bag. But that is a relatively minor niggle. There are three more compartments/ pockets inside the bag, one is zipped the others are not. Perfect for purses, passports and tickets. The bag is not at all rigid and folds down very flat when not in use. It also comes with two other, smaller bags. A drawstring bag which would be useful for damp items or even shoes, if needed and a zip-top bag which could be used for toiletries, cosmetics or something similar. With so many pockets compartments and additional bags this large bag is an absolute gift for anyone who likes to be organised. Overall, it is good-quality, well-made and the zips are strong. I ordered the black and it looks very smart – especially with the silver hardware. I think this bag would appeal equally to Women and Men.

Practical but not that stylish
Review of :Kono Travel Duffel Bag 32L Water-Resistant Gym Tote Bag with Shoes Compartment Cosmetic Bag Detachable Shoulder Strap Lightweight Holdall Luggage Bag Weekend Bag with Trolley Sleeve (Black)This bag is much larger than I had originally thought that it would be (am I alone in looking at measurements and then having no idea what they equate to without getting a tape measure out?!) It would make an ideal weekend away bag provided that you don’t have to carry it too far. There are lots of different pockets but none compromise its main storage compartment. The bottom section, presumably designed for shoes, has venting which is nice. I’m not sure that the cosmetics bag and shoe bag that came with it add anything to the value but they are not un-useful!I like the fact that the carry handles can be Velcroed together with a band although I would have liked both this and the shoulder strap to have had a little more padding to aid comfort. There is a trolley sleeve which allows the bag to fit over a standard size trolley case handle making the bag suitable as hand luggage (check the size!) or for ease of transportation if you have a suitcase as well. This is a practical bag but it does not look particularly premium – for me it gives off a bit of a cheap vibe. Functional, but not that desirable.Overall, at £32.99 at the time of review, I think that it offers reasonable value as a practical item.ALTHOUGH I RECEIVED THIS PRODUCT FOR FREE VIA THE AMAZON "VINE" PROGRAMME, I VALUE MY INTEGRITY SO ALWAYS GIVE HONEST, UNBIASED OPINIONS.FOR ME:A 4* PRODUCT IS GOOD - It does everything it says it should.A 5* PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT – It does everything it should and MORE or PARTICULARLY WELL or is EXCELLENT VALUELOWER STAR RATINGS ARE GIVEN WHERE THERE IS A FLAW, A DESCRIPTION IS MISLEADING or THERE IS ANOTHER ISSUE WHICH WILL BE CLEARLY STATED.

Spacious bag with many pockets
This 32L bag by Kono is fantastic for travel. It's well-made, big and spacious, decent amount of pockets with a couple of accessories (cosmetics and laundry drawstring bag) and detachable shoulder strap which I think is good for for price.I got this bag for my mum who uses it as a weekend and overflow bag when she needs to carry a few extra things she can't fit into her suitcase. She wanted a bag that had a strap so it could be secured to a suitcase so she wouldn't have to carry it around everywhere so that along with it's large size were what appealed most to her.She has a medium sized suitcase (39(H)x21(D)cm) with handles extending to a height of 40cm. The bag looks quite big sitting ontop of her suitcase but it sits on there nicely and only hangs over the edge by 6cm.The main compartment fo the bag is spacious with a number of zipped pockets and a side pocket for holding a water bottle which is something else she likes about this bag. The separate shoe compartment (with vents at the rear) is useful but also can be used to pack extra clothes. My mum's really happy with the bag but something I wanted to mention was the advertised pictures make the bag look matte were as in person the material is quite shiny.

Disappointingly small pockets and compartments - no use for a gym bag
This is not a cheap bag - though its all-nylon look isn't particularly classy - but it looked ideal to use as a gym bag for my trips to the local gym and swimming pool. What a disappointment!I counted half a dozen external zipped pockets, but they were all too small to be of any use.The bottom compartment made for shoes would not take my size 9 gym shoes, so they have to go inside with everything else.I normally take a small bottle of water and a few chocolate bars with me, but see from the pic how the side pockets are far too shallow for even small chocolate bars without pushing them in and zipping it tightly. The end open pocket should have been ideal to hold a bottle of water firmly, but accessibly. But look how even a small bottle of water protrudes and would fall out if mishandled. So yes I could shove everything inside the bag in a big heap, but that rather defeats the object of all the compartments, I think.I'm very disappointed with it, especially for the price, and probably will not be using it.
