Eating one of these, at least to me, is like eating a sandwich, so I can see why it's recommended that you only have them when you're working out or doing something strenuous to help dissipate things like the sugar and carbs. The good news is that they use organic oats and they don't use corn syrup - yea! Also, there is a decent amount of protein. I've never had a problem with the quality and find them to be delicious, but I eat them sparingly and under the right conditions.

None of the weird energy-bar aftertaste that so many other bars have. It's not EXACTLY a chocolate brownie, but it's the closest of any energy bars I've tried to being the thing that it's named for.

Very good taste, my daughter loves them and she is very picky.

Easy to carry, sometimes difficult to open. Taste and texture are good. I used to try about a half a dozen flavors but over the years have settled on this one. The taste is never overwhelming. Even if I'm a bit dehydrated it is moist enough to eat and not have it just crumble. If necessary, you can unpack it from the wrapper and just drop it into a cycling jersey pocket and it remains mostly intact even after eating a bite or two and putting it back in the pocket multiple times.

My teens love these bars, and on the Yuca app they are marked as a great choice because of the ingredients, no dangerous additives etc. I like that there are a variety of flavors and ordering from Amazon means we can have them here within 2 days which saves me a trip to a special store to get them. It's nice to be able to give my kids something that tastes great and is also a good choice as far as ingredients. I found Amazon's price to be similar to the in store without a coupon price
