Phenomenal Scent Blend! Lasts for Hours!
This white sage and rose aromatherapy roller oil made a huge impact on home crafts and self aromatherapy sessions with just a few drops or a dab. The scent is woody-floral rich and very robust without smelling fake or musky like some synthetic sage or rose blends, making it perfect for my candles and melts, even for beard oils for hubby. The built-in roller top makes it easy to dab on my pulse points, and the top itself is easy to remove when I tried it for crafting. The oil itself mixes in well without discoloring the product--we've personally found that it smells more vibrant in carrier oil than it does in wax. As an added bonus, the dark colored bottle keeps the oil fresh and safe from light degradation. The scent in my opinion is rather unisex, being herbaceous while not too heavy on the rose; suitable for men and women. I've loved the candles and wax melts I've made while my husband has received many compliments for his beard oil. When used in moderation and in a correct amount in body-safe carriers, the oil shouldn't irritate the skin and hasn't for us. The scent lasts about 4+ hours at strongest, mellowing afterwards yet not changing in aroma to still be smelled at the 10 hour mark.

Really strong smell!
I was a bit confused because the box says not to apply directly on skin but the listing says to apply to pulse points. I'm somewhat of a risk taker so I applied it on my wrist and behind my ears and WHOA, the smell is STRONG so I better make sure to use less next time.Personally, I like the smell. I ordered the White Sage and Frankincense. The smell has a floral tone to it, almost to the point of being a grandma smell, I think it's right at that edge. The frankincense brings it back making it a somewhat "clean" smell that I'm really enjoying.I went to the living room to give my husband a hug and get his opinion and he likes it. He says it smells like something you would get from Bath and Body, at least that's what he remembers from walking into the store.I think I might dilute this a bit with some of the oils I already have because it doesn't take a lot to smell like a bundle of flowers with a hint of fresh cleanliness. I may even mix it with some other essential oils I already have just to see what I can come up with. I think this smell would go very well with a fruity note, maybe even some vanilla.

Strong fragrance
This White Sage & Rose Essential Oil Roll-On Blend by Aromafume is well packaged. No leaking when it arrived and the cap seal secured even after removing the package which I am not worried that it messes up my bag or makeup pouch. A little goes a long way. As for the smell, it's really strong and not a natural side which is a little bit cheap. Scent is a every personal preference. I am not a fan of this one and I will give it only two stars.

Can be overpowering
Could just be the scent, but it can be overpowering at times if you aren't careful. The scent is okay, but may not be something for everyone.Roll-on application is really nice though, as it allows for a more concentrated delivery where you need it.

Esential oil roll on
White sage and frankincense essential oil roll on. Great for cleansing negative energy. Smells great and a great alyernative to burning sage for places you cant like nursing homes due to oxygen or for people with asthma.

Smells great, conflicting instructions
I love woody, earthy smells so I knew I'd probably like this. It definitely is more white sage forward but the frankincense seems to last longer on my skin. The oil itself is really oily if that makes sense so you get a good amount of product in one little swipe. Now while it smells great the instructions and intended use conflict. On the packaging it says do not apply directly to skin. But it's in a rollerball? I didn't even notice that until I'd used the product on my skin several times. Fortunately I didn't have any adverse reactions but just be aware of that. Otherwise the scent is pleasant and the packaging was secure and the rollerball doesn't leak!

Love the scent
To tell the truth, I’m not really sure what the purpose of this roll on is, but I do know that I really love the scent. It has a peaceful, calming effect on me, and maybe that is the purpose. It reminds me of scents that were popular in the 70’s and 80’s, and a certain bead shop when I walk in, smells like this. This is inspiring me to learn a bit more about smudging. My interest has been peaked.

Not to be applied directly to skin?
Hm, I don’t know about using this one. It says on the back of the box caution, not to be applied directly to skin. I’m not sure what else you would do with this oil if you can’t apply it to your skin? It smells ok, but to be fair I’m not a huge fan of the scent of sage. I’m a bit afraid to apply it to my skin since there is a caution for it. Probably wont use this one.

Not clear online that it needs to be used with a carrier oil
This oil comes beautifully packaged in an attractive box so would make a good gift. My wife wanted to try it but was surprised to see that although it says online that it can be used as a scent, it says on the box that it shouldn't be used directly on the skin! This is an important point and should really be made clear in the online description and is the reason why I didn't give it 5*. My wife tried a small amount on her wrists to see if there were any adverse reactions and so far there haven't been. She loves the smell which is perfect for summer - quite citrusy and strong so only a small amount is needed. UPDATE: I've updated this review as my wife found there were no adverse reactions about using it without a carrier oil and the scent lasted well - because of this I've amended the stars from 4 to 5.

Not clear how to use it
I’m confused by this essential oil because it’s advertised online as being a roll on for the temples, behind the ears, inside the wrists etc but on the box and bottle it says it’s not to be applied directly to the skin! So, I’ve decided to err on the side of caution and apply it to a hanky to keep in a bag or pocket. I really like the scent, it’s strong so it’s not necessary to use much of it, and it will last a while too.The box it comes in is attractive and the roll on bottle itself is securely sealed. Overall it’s very nice and would be a lovely gift idea - however, it should be clear as to how it’s supposed to be used.

Smells gorgeous.
This white sage rollerball blend arrived in a very pretty box, it would make a lovely present for anyone who loves essential oil perfumes/blends. I put it on my pulse points within minutes of getting it and it smells gorgeous and the scent last a few hours, it's has a bit of an earthy smell which I love, not overly strong, just right. Love it.

Doesn't smell like sage. Too sweet. Cloying scent.
Item being reviewed: Aromafume Store - Californian White Sage Essential Oil Roll-On Blend by Aromafume | 10ml/0.33 fl oz | Aromatherapy Oil for Cleansing Negative Energy & Protection | Ethically sourced | Sage Oil for Smokeless Smudging.Price at time of order / review: Unknown as item is not currently available for sale. This doesn't smell like any type of sage I've ever been around in my entire life. As such, I'm not convinced that it is actually sage. Especially when you consider how strongly sweet it smells. I'm used to sage having a dry, almost desert-type scent. My husband found it to be very unpleasant and described it as cloying when I used it. I can say that it is concentrated. I used the tiniest dab on my wrist, then rubbed that wrist onto the other. We both felt that tiny amount filled up our small living room with scent. Be very careful how much you use until you've tried it yourself. I may, at some point, try mixing it with other essential oils to see if I can tone down the sweet smell. I'm torn between that and just chucking it because I'm so disappointed.

Pleasant smell. Labelling suggests the use of a carrier oil.
This is a well presented product that has a very pleasant smelling fragrance; it would make a nice gift. While it's seemingly intended as a roll on for skin, which is how I tried it, the package does contain a cautionary note about not applying direct to skin. This is absolutely correct advice for undiluted essential oils. The ingredients, however, include fractionated coconut oil, which is commonly used as a carrier oil to dilute an essential oil. Provided that the coconut oil has been used in an appropriate quantity (no ratios are given, so this is unknown), it should dilute and make the oil safe for skin. Nonetheless, it is best to do a small patch test, and then wait 24 to 48 hours to see if there is an adverse reaction before using it on a larger area. Sensitive areas such as the face, eyes and mucus membranes should be avoided regardless. The smell lasts a long time on the skin. Overall it's a nice scent that I imagine would have a wide appeal.
