Always Trust Rick Steves
In 20 years, Rick Steve's guides of London, Britain, and Paris have serve me well. Full of everything from Open times of museums, to quality out of the way restaurants, to how to buy a transit card. Well worth the money.

It's a Rick Steves' guide book... what more can be said.
Used this book and Rick's London videos to plan a trip to the UK that included 5 days in London. This books is a must have for people planning a trip to London. Lot of great ideas and ratings for things to do, places to eat, etc.

Issues with the physical book
Rick Steves travel guides are always my go-to for European destinations. His London book is no exception. The content is accurate and I'm a fan of his style.I docked a star because my physical copy of the book has issues. The thin paper pages like to stick together at the edges, making it very difficult to flip through the book and go to a specific page number. The problem appears have been caused by how the pages for the book were cut. The edges of the pages are slightly curled causing them to stick together. It makes a noise similar to a ripping sound when I pull pages apart from each other, but thankfully, the pages do not rip when I separate them. The new edition of the book was released just days before my trip, so I couldn't get another one on short notice. It was definitely frustrating to use the entire time and I wish I would have had time to exchange it.

It contains a lot of information.
I wrote a long review to counter the negative reviews, and accidentally hit the back button, and lost everything. Please note the dimensions of this book! To summarize, the 600+ page book is designed to fit in one's pocket or purse. The pages are thin, but the content on the reverse side is not legible. If it had been printed with a larger font and on standard weight paper, it would NOT be a pocket sized travel guide. I pre-ordered the book and received it the day it was released. My book contained all 616 pages, plus color maps. I personally prefer paperback travel guides, and have tried travel guides on the Kindle and iPad, and I find them difficult to quickly navigate and impossible to resize tables, graphs, and images. In fact, I have the Lonely Planet, London Guide on my iPad, but I pre-ordered the upcoming paperback, pocket version. I understand and appreciate the design of this travel book, and like having so much content in my pocket. My old eyes can manage.
