This is a nice, relatively inexpensive way to keep your Tello batteries charged. There is an on-board, one-at-a-time charger in the drone itself, but this allows you to charge up your batteries without the drone or charge a second battery at the same time.If you are looking at this, you are probably trying to decide between this cheaper thing and the more expensive charging docks that will charge 3-4 of the proprietary, Tello batteries at once.The advantages of this are (1) noticeably cheaper, (2) much more portable, (3) still works with even an old, 1 amp USB charger (unlike the on-board Tello charger that, according to the instructions, wants a modern USB charger pushing at least 1.5 amps).The disadvantages over the bigger chargers are: (1) it is one-battery-at-a-time vs 3-4 at a time, and (2) it needs a separate USB charger to drive it.It has a basic charge protection circuit and lights to let you know when it is done. So red = charging and green = finished. With a good quality, 2 amp Anker USB charger, I found that cold, dead batteries will charge using this thing in about an hour, or roughly as fast as the on-board charger in the drone. (I think this might charge slightly faster than the on-board charger but not by enough to matter).One thing you will want to know if you don't already own a Tello: the batteries heat up during flight and must cool down before they can be recharged. So you will not be flying one battery and charging the other one up immediately with this gizmo. Forget about that, the math just doesn't work to charge batteries on the go and then re-use them in the same session. I have three batteries and that gives me just over a half hour in the air. That feels like the minimum number of batteries you should plan to have for this little drone. With just three batteries to deal with, using this one-at-a-time thing doesn't seem like a big hassle to me. I am glad I saved the $10 or whatever over a bigger charger. I also like that this little thing goes in the same small case I got for the Tello itself, keeping everything together in one place. I am happy with this overall for what I paid.

perfect for what I needed. Charges the tello batteries outside of the actual tello and does it faster than charging inside the tello. Feels a little on the cheap side but if it last for a year or two than it will have served it's purpose.

Works well. Charges in about 1/3 the time of the micro usb port. Not sure if it is adaptive fast charging or what, but it definitely is much less time than the stock way of charging. Great product, that has a simple green light and red light system with red for charging, and green means fully charged.

This charger works very well, and charges the battery anywhere from 35-45 minutes. I keep it in the case I purchased for the Tello.

Absolutely fantastic! It arrived on time and works much better than advertised. It says that it will fully charge my Tello battery in about 35 minutes but it actually does the job in between 15-20 minutes, highly recommended!
