Free folk are great, just different. This is the best place to start.
WE DO NOT KNEEL.The free folk starter is a great place to start if you're not interested in the petty squabbles of the Southerners. Do yourself a favor and get 2 starters. With one you can field 36 points (standard is 40, small is 30, large is 50) but it's not going to be the most effective army. It comes with everything you need to play a game. 2 raiders, one trapper, 2 giants. In addition to 4 attachment/ncu options.Practically, you'll likely enjoy running 2 sets of (2) raiders with 2 trappers. Your bread and butter will be rushing ahead with Giants, surrounding with raiders, while harassing with trappers.I played a few games at 30 points with this starter, and while it's good to get a feel for the free folk, you'll likely have more success with 2 sets. I can't wait for future expansions!

Nice miniatures at a good value
Great miniatures but I’m not quite as sold on this faction for the game. They paint up real nice though and the details make for easy work when painting. If you’re not into painting your army, they come in a pretty cool light green that I felt was rather fitting for them. I almost left them unpainted as a result (and this isn’t my main army).

Amazing miniature game
Outstanding quality on the models. The box itself is chunky but everything compresses down into this box and of a ln incredible quality.The game itself is great and a really good miniature game. This gives you a team worth 32 points so upgrade with one or two units to make a medium 40 credit team size. Make sure to install the app to play along.
