It's like Gatorade for horses! I'm on my fifth bucket of these electrolytes - and what a godsend! We are in south Florida, where it's hot every day of the year. In summer the temps hover around 95-100 every day. I don't ride often in this weather but even after I have turned out my horse for some exercise, I'll give him electrolytes. Thankfully, he loves the apple flavor and eats them with no problem. I can see the difference between my horse having these electrolytes, and some of his barn buddies he likes to play with out in the field. After they come in they tend to lie down from exhaustion. I wish I had the right to share some of these with all the horses in his barn but it's not allowed. :-(.

I have tried many different electrolytes. All the others were powders or crystals that were either sprinkled in with the feed or added to water. I have not had much luck with my horses eating or drinking any of them. These pellets are the solution to my problem. I add these into their grain and they gobble them up. I can add more or less depending on their needs and I know they are getting the electrolytes they need.These electrolyte pellets smell great. The horses seem to like the taste and they are not left in the bottom of the feed bin as other electrolyte products have been. As typical of Farnam, the Apple Elite Electrolyte Supplement is of high quality.The best part is that I have these on a subscription so they show up when I need them and I never run out!

These are the only Electrolytes I can get my horses to eat. If I put any other kind in their feed they will just refuse to eat. If you have a stubborn horse they might eat this.

This is my go to for daily electrolytes. My horses look 10 and they are 23 and 25.

When I opened my package, the lid was completely off the bucket. Half of the pellets had fallen out of the bucket, contaminating the product, and making a mess of my kitchen. Much of the product seems to have fallen out of the cracks of the box before it even arrived. I followed the "Product Support" page which told me to contact Farnam through their own website. I received a response that they are not responsible for offering me a refund. Will not be buying again.

With extreme heat all across the country, feeding electrolytes is really important. My horses, even the pickiest eaters, will eat this. And I have peace of mind knowing they're drinking more water and staying hydrated with the temperatures being so hot this summer. 10/10 do recommend!
