For the first 5-6 days it looks like nothing is happening - just be patient and make sure that its not dry at all times. Then all of a sudden it starts popping up. Good stuff!

Waste of money and time. 14 days after using I've got nothing. Not a single blade of grass and I've been watering well and consistently. Lots of weeds coming up tho ... from the watering. Back to Rapid Grass I guess.

I tried numerous different grass, patch products over the years but this one actually works.

Planted it out back right away. Worked just fine.

this works but it's mostly whatever mulch or mulch substitute they added, i'd say it's less than 5% seed. Their product that is just seed coated with nitrogen fertiilzer works a lot better than product and includes a lot more seed by volume.

Last year we transformed our nothing but dirt backyard with sod well during the summer our grass died. We saw this brand and gave it a shot. One side of our yard that was nothing but dirt again has now turned into gorgeous dark green grass. It took a quick 3 months but this seed worked wonders and will continue to buy this seed to do any patch work.

Hit or miss on whether seeds will germinate. Appears to cover the square footage the bag says but the grass grows sparingly.

Within 48 hours several ant colonies decided to make home inside of my patch repair... they even took it 10 ft away and made a new giant mound nearby with the ingredients of this bag....Update: originally rated this 1 star but I kept watering it for 2 weeks every day. The patches almost completely filled in now with new grass to my surprise. It was only effective on the spots that I removed the dead grass from though. Cannot use it on top of dead grass, has to be fresh ground. But took the bare spot in my front lawn to 90% filled in 2-3 weeks. Taking my review from 1 to 5! Maybe the ants helped after all...
