Not really sure if it's stainless steel or aviation aluminum or some other material but if treated not to roughly it will last very long. I have seen some sturdier one but these can last if not bent or forced, they are only marking tools anyway

Q: The plastic knob broke off, can I get a replacement knob and washers?

Thanks for your question, the Mk1 had brass knobs however the Mk2 is steel: NEW – Larger Pinch Bolts Rather than having to tighten 4 x pinch bolts to lock in a setting on the original Mk1, the Mk2 has just 2 x Pinch bolts. They’re much larger, more ergonomic and quicker to use. Hope this helps. Thanks again
