Great Supplement for Potassium Needs
I’ve been using BulkSupplements Potassium Chloride Powder for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier with it! The quality is excellent, and it’s an easy way to get my potassium intake without the hassle of pills or tablets. The powder is gluten-free, which is a plus for me, and I love that it comes in a large, 1kg pack, making it super cost-effective. I mix it with my smoothies, and it dissolves easily without any aftertaste. If you're looking for a reliable potassium supplement, this one is definitely worth trying!

Killing two birds with one suppliment
I feel that most supplements are worthless, but when used right, Potassium chloride is a wonderful exception. Since 90% of Americans (and anyone who eats as badly as us) get insufficient potassium, this would be a great diet addition. Since well over 90% of Americans (and others) get too much sodium, I strongly recommend replacing all your 100% sodium salt with a 1:1 mix of NaCl and KCl. I chose bulksuppliments.com's product because it had a winning combination of price and purity. In both seasoning and cooking, the mix tastes almost the same (no chemical taste, but it is not as "salty") and you will be healthier. For the documented studies delving further into this, and to help you decide whether a 1:1 mix is good enough, I suggest visiting YouTube and searching on "Podcast: Salt vs. Potassium."

DIY electrolyte powder.. kick the crappy ingredients!
This is one ingredient in my DIY electrolyte powder! Literally an IV in a glass! I also use Bulk Supplements Magnesium Malate + sea salt and a little sugar makes this the perfect alternative to any premade big brand minus the not so good ingredients. I am off of added sugar so I do natural sugar ie... Pineapple Juice and it's excellent. It is salty but in a good way! Grapefruit juice is also delicious!

Saltier, But The Right Kind for Low Potassium Levels
POTASSIUM CHLORIDE - (NOT CITRATE - WHY ARE CITRATE REVIEWS HERE TOO??)By the way, even though it tastes yuckier, potassium chloride is what you're supposed to be taking for low potassium levels, not citrate. For the dosage, I previously thought it to be what others said about it being much lower, like 2 tsp 44% DV or something (which is reaaally hard to take since 1 tsp needs 64 oz water for mild taste) , but I reached another conclusion. Maybe.... just maybe I'm taking too much of this. I was tired of having the runs. I used a digital kitchen scale and Chronometer to reach this new dosage:1 tsp = 89% DVHere's how I did it:What does it say on the package?200 mg yields = 105 mg potassium = 2%Okay, we prefer teaspoon for measuring, so let's use a scale to make sure how much milligrams we're getting. I placed the teaspoon on the scale and reset it. Then I scooped a level teaspoon and placed it on the scale:1 level teaspoon = 8 grams OR 8,000 milligramsOkay, but how much of that is potassium chloride? According to the package200 mg powder yields = 105 mg potassium = 2%Using a proportion to compare the larger amount:8,000 mg powder yields = 4,200 mg potassium = 89% DV1 teaspoon = 89% DVI know proportions aren't always as exact as one would like, but it is of note that I put 8 grams of this particular product into Chronometer, a nutrition database tracker for food and supplements, it said 89% potassium, the EXACT figure I calculated on my own. :DI'm pretty confident this is the right dosage, but please feel free to correct me.

A must have for athletic recovery and muscle growth
I'm 54 and still do CrossFit and weight training but over the last few years it has a little more difficult putting on and keeping muscle along with recovery. Without the proper amount of potassium chloride all of that can come to halt. I began supplementing this product and adding some to my post workout shakes and withing a little more than a month I began to finally put on weight and a little more muscle mass. Do your research on how potassium chloride can affect muscle growth and recovery and go from there. Overall, this is a fantastic high-quality product.
